How to Contact an Author?

If you want to ask questions about how an item works before buying, need help using an item you’ve purchased or just want to tell an author how much you love their work, that's great! Contacting an author is easy and you have a few options available to do this.


Comments

Post your comment in the item comments tab for the author to see, or read through existing comments to see if your question has already been answered. Item Comments are visible to everyone.

To post a comment:
  • Login (or sign up!) for an LifeInSYS Market account
  • From the item page click the Comments tab
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and type your comment. Then click Leave Comment.

Authors Profile

You can use the internal LifeInSYS messages system to contact with authors.

To send a message:
  • Login (or sign up!) for an LifeInSYS Market account
  • From the item page click the author’s name and you will redirect to the author profile page (on the right-hand side)
  • Click to Send Message button below the author logo
  • Type your message and click to the icon for send (on the right-hand side)

Support

The support tab of every item's page will indicate if an item is supported. You'll find information here about what support includes, and how to get it.

To find an item's support information:
  • From the item page click the Support tab
  • Provided type of contact with the author for support can be in different ways, based on the author's decision
    • If the author provides support via email, you will see the author email address and can write an email to the provided address
    • If the author provides support via internal messages, then go to the author profile page and click to Send Message button
    • If the author provides support via external support site, then open the external URL in a new tab to get support

Please Note: The support tab appearance and how the author provides support will vary. Not all authors will have an external support site. Support may be provided via the item comments page or via email or via LifeInSYS internal messages system. Authors may also choose not to support an item. This will be indicated on the item page.
